Colorado Parks and Wildlife Animations

Three of the animated clips I made for Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

A lesson learned on the coyote video: Not all four-legged animals walk the same - footfall patterns differ between groups. In reality, coyotes walk in a "lateral sequence", meaning the two feet on one side of the animal hit the ground at roughly the same time time, the hind foot slightly ahead. In this video, I have the coyote walking in a "diagonal sequence", meaning the feet diagonal to one another hit the ground at roughly the same time, the hind foot slightly ahead - the way baboons, for example, walk. And I have the hind feet slightly ahead of the front feet! Argh!! I suppose you could use the "it's a cartoon" defense, but it wasn't intentional. Learn through mistakes!
